Guests are invited to join us at the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa.
Our reception is being held on the grounds In The Indian Wells Ballroom.

Group rates are available under the Kiniry ~ Schnakenberg Wedding block.

Travel & Transportation

FROM LOS ANGELES:
DRIVE: The Palm Springs / Indian Wells area is an ~2.5 hour drive from the Los Angeles area. Our ceremony site in Palm Springs is ~40 minutes west of our reception / hotel site in Indian Wells. Those wishing to drive out the morning of our celebration may wish to explore Palm Springs before our wedding, and then travel to Indian Wells for our reception.
 

FROM ELSEWHERE:
FLY: The closest airport is Palm Springs International Airport, approximately 5 minutes from our ceremony site in Palm Springs, and ~40 minutes away from our reception / hotel site in Indian Wells.

DRIVE: You may also fly into Los Angeles International Airport and drive to Palm Springs / Indian Wells.  The drive is ~ 2.5 hours away. It may be a little longer depending on the time of day, so please factor that in. Allow plenty of time and avoid Friday afternoon, Sunday evening and rush hour.

GETTING AROUND: Renting a car is recommended for enjoying the area, but is not essential. Taxis / Uber / Lyft are available. For those staying at the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells, we will be running a shuttle to and from St. Theresa Catholic Church in Palm Springs for the ceremony. 

Weather

December is sunny and beautiful in Palm Springs / Indian Wells. The mid-day temperature hits an average high of about 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The night temperature drops back down to about 45 degrees Fahrenheit. The average rainfall in December is about a half of an inch total for the month. Of course, we recommend checking the weather a few days ahead of time.
